Angie's passion for health and helping others is part of who she is personally and professionally, guiding her to learn, seek, and grow so she can offer more in her practice. She loves spending time with her friends and family, and volunteering in the community. Exploring the outdoors, kayaking, camping and hiking, reading by the fire, walking her dogs, and coaching youth soccer are just a few of her favorite things. Angie and her husband have 3 wonderful children. Through faith and her, and her family's own journey and challenges, she has learned the power the body has to heal and recover, and the importance of looking at the entire picture. Her faith in something greater than herself guided her to become a pastor, and she continues to pursue her spiritual education as well as her scientific education.
Angie's past health challenges have lead her on a different path, with exposure to an immense amount of healing modalities, brilliant doctors and practitioners, and amazing, kind, strong empathetic people. It has brought home the fact that we are all here as part of a bigger community, and at heart have more in common then we do differences. Angie has a deep desire to continue to learn, share and grow, and a passion to help others through her own professional training and personal experiences.

Angie has also worked as a researcher for Optiva (Sonicare toothbrush), and been a Certified Nutritional Counselor since 2007 and a Doula since 1999. She published an article in 2012 on chronic inflammation and diet for the National American Dental Hygiene Association's "Access Magazine" and was a speaker at the Pacific Northwest Dental Convention in 2013.
Along with her 34 years in the dental field, Angie attended Seattle Midwifery School in 1998-99 (now part of Bastyr University) and became a Doula. It is an amazing gift and honor to help new mammas through the birthing process. Her experience with newborns and infants helps her immensely in the Orofacial Myofunctional and Craniosacral aspects of her practice. She is currently pursuing infant massage education and postpartum support, as well as working on her certification with IBCLC as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant.
Angie is also an Upledger Institute Certified Craniosacral Technique Therapist (CST-T). She spent 7 years working with Cynthia Keller MD, a holistic-oriented Pediatrician, and many other talented Doctors at Centered in Wellness Clinic in Kirkland WA. Angie worked with physicians to effectively help address symptoms of concussions, scoliosis and other musculoskeletal issues, acute and chronic pain and injuries, TMJ/TMD and facial pain, stress syndromes, auto-immune disease and neuro-developmental issues, as well as nutritional deficiencies, detoxification and methylation challenges. Angie was the lead investigator in a study to determine the effects of Neurostimulation on symptom reduction in kids with autoimmune PANS/PANDAS.
