In addition to her 35 years in dental hygiene, she has worked as a researcher for Optiva (Sonicare) and has been a Nutritional Counselor since 2007. Her passion for addressing overall health as an integral component of oral health led her to establish her business 16 years ago. She is focused on nutrition's role in inflammation and wellness, promoting a balanced lifestyle; with healthy food, joyful movement, and good friends as an important part of preventative and supportive medicine. She published an article in 2012 on chronic inflammation and diet for the National American Dental Hygiene Association's "Access Magazine" and was a speaker at the Pacific Northwest Dental Convention in 2013.
Angie attended Seattle Midwifery School in 1998-99 to become a Birth Doula. She continued her child birth education the past 2 years to become a Post-Partum Doula and Certified Lactation Educator.. Angie is pursuing her International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) certification, the gold standard in lactation support and services. Helping new families and infants in this precious time is an amazing gift and honor that she is so grateful for. She is particularly experienced in assessing tongue-ties and supporting with latching/feeding struggles for new mom's and baby.
Angie is also an Upledger Institute Certified Craniosacral Technique Therapist (CST-T). She spent more than 7 years working for a holistic-oriented Pediatrician, and alongside other highly skilled Naturopaths and practitioners at Centered in Wellness Clinic in Kirkland WA. In collaboration with these physicians, Angie helped address a wide range of conditions including orofacial pain and TMD/TMJ, concussions, musculoskeletal injuries, acute and chronic pain, stress related syndromes, autoimmune disease and neurodevelopmental challenges. She began her career at the clinic as a nutritional consultant, giving monthly lectures on various topics from anti-inflammatory diet, sports nutrition, fun healthy food prep for kids, nutrient imbalances, methylation and dietary detoxification support.
Angie served as the lead investigator in a study examining the effects of neurostimulation on symptom reduction in children with autoimmune PANS/PANDAS. She and Cynthia Keller MD presented their finings at the World Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine Conference in Houston in 2014. Angie is also an Avazzia Neurostimulation Practitioner She's completed her biofeedback training, successfully passing the Biofeedback Practitioner's Examination.
She has spent the last 5 years working as a Orofacial Myofunctional Therapist, She integrates her expertise as a Myofunctional therapist, craniosacral therapist, nutritional counselor and post-partum doula & lactation educators to comprehensively address her clients needs.

Angie enjoys time with friends and family, working with animals and staying connected in her community. She enjoys being outdoors-whether kayaking, paddle boarding, camping, or hiking. You'll often find her reading by the fire, walking her dogs or coaching youth soccer. She and her husband have raised three wonderful children.

Through faith and her family's personal health journey, Angie has learned to really listen to her clients with compassion and understanding. Her own health challenges has lead her on a unique path, with exposure to an immense amount of healing modalities, brilliant doctors and practitioners, and amazing, kind, strong empathetic people. It has brought home the fact that we are all here as part of a bigger community, and at heart have more in common then we do differences
Her belief in something greater than the individual has guided her to explore her faith and spirituality, and to become a Pastor. She continues to be curious, not judgmental (ode to Ted Lasso), and strives to be open and accepting as she pursue her spiritual and professional education.

Angie's true calling lies in helping clients optimize orofacial muscle function and structure as a myofunctional therapist, and compassionately supporting infants and new families navigate breastfeeding and challenges and post-partum transitions in her work as a doula.
She approaches orofacial myofunctional disorders (OMDs) through the lens of three professions. as a dental hygienist & myofunctional therapist, she evaluates form, function, development, oral habits, & compensatory patterns. As a craniosacral therapist: she addresses fascial tensions, particularly in the mouth, head, jaw, and neck. As a Doula she supports mother's, families, and infants through pregnancy, post partum and early life challenges. She brings together her passion for healing, broad clinical knowledge, and professional experience to create highly personalized therapy sessions for her clients.
